1. What This Website Is

This privately operated reference resource is independent of every government office. It neither stores official criminal records nor retrieves records, performs official checks, or files documents for users.

Its content identifies Sumter County custodians such as SCSO, the Circuit and County Courts, FDLE, and the Florida Sexual Offender/Predator Public Registry. Public access to agency records remains subject to Florida Public Records Law in Chapter 119, while FDLE dissemination is governed by section 943.053, Florida Statutes. Some pages also contain tools run independently by outside providers.

2. Rules for Using This Site

Use of the service is conditioned on an agreement not to:

• Violate an applicable local, Florida, or federal law
• Threaten, stalk, or harass another person with information obtained here
• Apply site content to an employment, housing, credit, or insurance decision
• Attempt unauthorized entry into any system or account
• Deploy scraping software, bots, or another automated collection method
• Interfere with operation or another visitor's access

3. No Harassment, Stalking, or Discrimination

Information obtained here or through a linked tool may not be used to harass, stalk, intimidate, threaten, or unlawfully discriminate. Florida’s registry misuse rule in section 775.21(10)(d), Florida Statutes, applies to information from the Florida Sexual Offender/Predator Public Registry. Registry data supports public safety awareness, never vigilantism or harassment.

4. We Are Not a Consumer Reporting Agency

We are not a consumer reporting agency under the FCRA. We do not generate background checks, credit reports, or consumer reports of any kind. Neither we nor our advertising partners provide services built for screening job applicants, reviewing rental applications, calculating insurance rates, or judging creditworthiness. You agree not to use data from this site or any linked tool to:

• Decide whether to hire or fire someone
• Screen potential renters or housing applicants
• Judge creditworthiness or set insurance premiums
• Determine who qualifies for licenses, permits, or government programs
• Do anything else that falls under FCRA rules

Any check for an FCRA-regulated purpose must come from an authorized, compliant provider, not from this site or its general search tools.

5. No Legal Advice

Nothing here is legal advice. General information about Sumter County records cannot determine how a charge, conviction, warrant, sealing, or expunction rule applies to a specific person. Consult a licensed Florida attorney for legal advice.

6. No Warranties

The service and its content are supplied "as is" without a guarantee that:

• The information here is accurate, complete, or current at any given time
• The site will stay up and running without interruptions
• Our pages are free of errors, bugs, or security holes
• Results from our partner search tools will be thorough or accurate

Criminal-record status changes as charges are filed or resolved and records are corrected, sealed, or expunged. Delays and gaps can occur. No content here is an official statement by a court, sheriff, or other government agency.

7. Third-Party Services and Links

Links can lead to sheriff pages, court systems, Florida agencies, legal organizations, and outside search providers. Those destinations are independently controlled. We accept no responsibility for their availability, content, privacy practices, or charges. Their terms should be reviewed before use.

8. Intellectual Property

Sumter County Criminal History or its content partners own the applicable text, graphics, logos, and code. Prior written permission is required to copy, adapt, modify, or distribute them.

9. Limits on Our Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim liability for damage arising from the website, its content, or a linked service, including reliance on information obtained through them.

10. Indemnification
